Working with a tight budget, Ambler Architects and New York architect Wendy Evans Joseph teamed up to renovate the interior of the Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower into a boutique hotel, restaurant, and bar.

The building had been abandoned for many years and the mechanical/electrical systems had to be completely renovated in order to reuse the facility. Working closely with the local Fire Marshal and Codes Officials, Ambler Architects found ways to maintain Life Safety requirements, while retaining the important physical attributes of Mr. Wright's only built skyscraper.

The architects won recognition for their work on the renovation of this important piece of architectural history from the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and from Newsweek and Architectural Record Magazines as an outstanding work of adaptive reuse.
